The Bulgarian language connects us, wherever we are
For the 2026/2027 school year, Azbukarche Bulgarian School – Glasgow offers online lessons in Bulgarian language and literature for pupils in grades I–XII.
The lessons are made for children across Scotland and the rest of the UK who live a long way from Glasgow, or who are unable to attend the school in person.
We teach in small groups, with close attention to reading, writing, speaking, grammar and comprehension — keeping children connected to the Bulgarian language, to Bulgarian culture and to their national identity.

Annual fee: depending on the size of the group formed, the annual fee for the 2026/2027 school year is between £300 and £380 for the full course of study.

Fill in the short form with a few details about you and your child. Once we receive it, we will get in touch to talk about your child's level of Bulgarian, the most suitable group, and the possible days and times for lessons.
We aim to place children in small groups of a similar age and language level, so this information helps us suggest the best option for your child.
Complete the enrolment form
Tell us about your child — their age, their level of Bulgarian and the grade they are joining — and we will place them in the right online group. There is no obligation at this stage: we will talk everything through with you before the school year begins.
